The closest I can get using "The Colour Identification Guide to Caterpillars of the British Isles" by Jim Porter ISBN 0-670-87509-0 is Feathered Ranunculus, Eumichtis lichenea, but I wouldn't put money on it. Gordon |

Hi Gordon...I've looked at all the bumph on UK Moths which says that one is only found in Southern Britain, with some in NW England and Wales...it is a coastal species though feeding on Sedum Acre and Thrift, both of which are growing in my garden...so Gord knows??? Haven't found a photo to compare it to as yet. Will plod on... Regards Roger |
