I would like to bring your attention to the following "new" publication:

Joachim ZIEGLER (editor)
Diptera Stelviana. A dipterological perspective on a changing alpine landscape. Results from a survey of the biodiversity of Diptera (Insecta) in the Stilfserjoch National Park (Italy). Volume 1.

Studia dipterologica Supplement 16
ISBN: 978-3-932795-30-5
Pages: 395
Price: 70 EUR (49 EUR for subscribers of Studia dipterologica)

taken from the abstract:
..... The Results section begins with explanations of the abbreviations used and the arrangement of the results. After that, the data gathered from the study area for the biodiversity of the Diptera, the most species-rich animal group in Central Europe, is presented. Locality data for the 25,280 specimens that have already been examined form the basis for this, but at most only half of the available material has been worked up so far. The flies and midges belong to 1,094 species and represent 46 families of the Diptera. The results are presented in 32 individual contributions, to which 32 international specialists have contributed. .......
