Today in some numbers, Amstelveen the Netherlands. Small - say about 4 mm. The abdomen's shape is rather unusual for Sarcophaginae in my experience (which may be horribly limited though!), so is there more to say tham subfamily? (assuming I'm correct in this!)

Rough grassy places with flowers and bramble etc.

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
