A nice Bibio from Bukk mountains, about 15 mm. Can it be ID-d?

Pomonae has the femora black.

This female is very likely johannis as well, but females are rather difficult

According to Skartveit (1995), pomonae has bright red femorae. See his key in this issue of Fauna Norv. Ser. B.

My mistake, I meant: the tibiae are black.

The result is the same: not pomonae, but cf. johannis

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
