Hello

I saw this fly in Richards Bay,South Africa, and I was wondering if someone could identify it.It was raining so I could not take a photoSad,but I can describe it.

It was gray, except for its face which was silver and it had three black dots in a vertical row on its abdomen. It had see-through wings with white veins. It also had red eyes and closely resembled a beach tabanid.

Thank you
Johl DanielsSmile

Sounds like an Anthomyiidae ... but really, it's anybody's guess!

I will try to fix the messages this month. We have to make some other configuration changes before software goes out of support at end of year.
