hi flyforum,

Today, I caught some of these larvae.
They are about 5-7mm in size
Rather transparant, greenbraunish.

What kind of larvae are these?

Dear Robert
The larvae or better nymph, actually belongs to the genus Cloeon of which C. dipterum is the most common species in The Netherlands. It can be seen by the lateral gills. In my opinion it seems as if the gills have two lamellae in stead of one in other Baetidae.
