Hello!

Every year it's the question: which species will be the earliest: Campylochaeta praecox or Kirbyia moerens. Mostly the latter wins - as in 2009, if I am not mistaken. Yesterday there were numerous of them at the forest border (northwest Germany). About 6-7 mm.

And the second Tachinid 2009 here was - as expected: Gymnochaeta viridis (April-07, northwest Germany, on tree trunk).
