May 27, 2002, Naro-Fominsk, Moscow region, near water.
Size wasn't recorded, I'd say rather medium-sized for Tipulidae.

I'd make a guess at Ctenophora fastuosa. The colouration seems OK, but I can't make out the antennal structure very well. Do you have any closer shots of the head?

Thanks Tony - no I don't have any closer shots of the head - I wasn't too much into Diptera back in those days.
