Hello, Here is a syrphidae I photographied in July 2008 at Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada (near Vermont, USA). This male is whether an Eristalis arbustorum or whether an Eristalis brousii... Any idea??? Thanks again! Michel   |

it looks like E. arbustorum to me. The most obvious difference is the basitars of the second leg: black in E. brousii; yellow-brown in E. arbustorum. Wouter |
