Hello! Are these 4 mm larvae also from Mycetophilidae? Together with many Proteinus ovalis beetles and larvae (Coleoptera, Staphylinidae) in a mushroom in our garden (northwest Germany) on first Christmas day. Keroplatidae glowing species can be found from Portugal to Scandinavia. Seemingly more genus does show glow display, like Platyura (Orfelia),etc... Edited by firefly on 26-01-2009 04:17 |
