Thought I was finished with Syrphids, but came across this 1 photo of a Syrphid with a very white face and I don't know where to stick it (polite replies only). Maybe Meliscaeva?....auricollis??? Thanks Stephane..the one and only sighting in my garden all summer. Is it possible to say to species level? S.pyrastri or S. selenitica,are the only two on my Checklist. Regards Roger |
