hello Flyforum, The wheater was bad, it was nice to watch some moths.. and just when I wanted to go home I saw this tiny fly... It tooks my attention with it's white lines in it's face and on the side of the abdomen. Looking better it looks like Tachina to me! Bob is quite right. It is a male Metopia. The most likely speices is M. argyrocephala (it might just be tshernovae, which is rare indeed). Theo Zeegers |
