Thank you for your answer. I think, Dexia is it not, because all specimens in the gallery have an appendix to vein M. My fly not, as can be seen a little bit better on this photo. You're off. It is a Bithia or possibly a Solieria. Difficult to see the legs. Might simply be a male Solieria pacifica. Theo |

Wow  I've never seen such a grey Solieria but it does look like it has 2 pairs of scutellars |

In the pictures, I saw, Bithia looks not so slender and in most cases seems to have longer hairs. Solieria pacifica seems to fit rather well for my taste. (E.g. I found http://www.galeri...ifica.html, which looks nearly as my fly. Michael |

Solieria has only 1 ad on tibia 2, Bithia more than 1. In the last pic, you see one, but it is not clear if the second one may be broken off. But I agree with you, Solieria seems the most likely; Theo |
