Thank you Nikita!  There is only Eudasyphora cyanicolor in the Gallery, I did see a likeness to that. I can't find a pic of Eudasyphora pratorum anywhere, but you know what details to look for and I don't . Is the ID firm enough to put this in the Gallery? |

OK Nikita! I will try to do that next year IF I see it again!  I'm afraid I don't like to harm them though.  Besides they would be difficult to catch.  This one seems to be a rarity. |

I'm afraid I don't like to harm them though To tell you truth, me too. On the other hand, the only way to help our lovely flies to survive is to know it's biology ect. The first step to know biology is to ID fly, the first step to ID is to collect fly. So, collected specimens helps to survive to the whole species. This way I'm trying to calm myself...
