Hello list This small one (6 mm approx) makes me think of a Heleomyzidae (although the costa is not spiny) but it is only a vague guess. Yet it is rather conspicuous with the darkened wing tips and the yellow scutellum. Heron, Belgium, September 18th Any opinion ? If I remeber it's not possible to separate ustulata and andersoni without genital examination. I may be wrong of course ![]() Jari |
