This was flying at 900 metres in a damp habitat in the Kerkini mountains in Northern Greece, but I think I have seen it alot in my malaise material.

It is a Cylindromyia. There are many species. I cannot tell the species from these pics. Please include samples in the material you send to Chris. Theo |

Dear Theo, Thanks for the reply, but Chris who? I do not send any samples to anybody called Chris, all my Tachinids go to Guido Van de Weyer. |
