Hello! This 6 mm fly I found on September-10 in limestone quarry in northwest Germany. Could it be Limnia unguicornis? Yes, Juergen. It is male, but still I think you can name it Limnia unguicornis without "cf" Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |

Pierre, my reason is: If we can't distinguish 2 species we choise an older one (L.unguicornis - Scopoli), the most common and widesperead one. Nikita What's more, I have some personal doubts about L.palludicola. At least, I'm not convincved myself so far... Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
