I had to check my collection. The wing venation suggested Linnaemyia. However, clearly there are abundant dark hairs present on backside of the head. This is very unusual in Linnaemyia. There are 2 species with this feature, very similar: L. frater and L. lithosiophaga. And that's what it is (either one of those two, can't tell). Theo |

Strange, I didn't think the mouth was projecting enough for Linnaemyia but maybe it is a trick of the angle. Body shape looked a bit slim too. |
