Hey Jorge How come you got an answer before I got it posted? A bit like a Scathophagid (if that's the right word)? waiting to pounce on unsuspecting threads.  I have two Simuliidae on my checklist-Simulium aureum and Simulium zetlandense. The second of those must be a local species as Zetland is another name for Shetland. Hjaltland being another from our past. Regards Roger
