Hello!

The males with the striking yellow 'M' on the thorax are easy, but with this female I'm not 100% sure: P. aurigera? A little bit smaller than P. hemiptera. Yesterday on Mentha at a hedge, northwest Germany.

P.S.: And what's that tiny fly in the upper right corner of this larger pic?

Thanks a lot!

Yes, there where only two females and no males, yet. And only one "non-macho" P. hemiptera male left...
