Hi, I'm waiting for my new book to key out the diptera-families (Pjotr Oosterbroek), but I have just got my hands on a wonderfull key for Tachinidae; So, is this a Tachinidae? If it is a Tachinidae, don't tell me which one, so I can key this one out.   Many thanks, Jonas |

Thank you for your answer; This afternoon I checked the fly, and after some trial-error, I got to Exorista larvarum. Could this be correct? And should I post it to the gallery? More tachinidae!  Bye Jonas |

Looks a bit too small to be E.larvarum - and there are too many alternatives that we can't eliminate  |

Hi, still didn't really find out which one it was.. but I found this;  And a bigger picture... http://farm4.stat...3994_b.jpg Photos were taken the day after I caught the one above, at the same place. It looks like the same species... So date was 30 august 2008, in my garden, Ostend (Belgium) Bye Jonas (very curious ) |
