For the most recent key to species of Orellia, incl. a new species from Spain, see: Korneyev V. A. New and little-known Tephritidae (Diptera, Cyclorrhapha) from Europe. - Vestnik Zoologii, 2003 , 37(3): 3-12. If you like to have a pdf, let me know at: valery.korneyev@gmail.com Val |

ATTENTION! There is a chance that it is my own species Orellia tragopogonis Korneyev & Dirlbek 2003, recently redescribed by B. Merz. The presence of black spots at bases of prst sa is not visible.

Then, perhaps the fly in http://www.dipter...d_id=14071 may be Orellia tragopogonis? Best regards |

Jos?, i cannot say with certainty, anyway. Males are too similar. I'd say with some reservations that this species is O. sp. cf. tragopogonis, and the other species is O. sp. cf. falcata.
