I presume you got this name from Austin? Well you are right but the name has changed, both genus and specific. It is a male Bombomyia discoidea, (analis now used for undatus). The female was recently posted here http://www.dipter...d_id=15298 Edited by David Gibbs on 19-08-2008 18:37 |

Thanks David. No, the name was given to me by Paqui Mars in Insectariumvirtual.com, although she mentioned that she was not sure and that she was using some old keys. I will submit the photo to the gallery then. |
