The eyes are not hairy on this female Syrphus sp. Can she be identified?

The hairs at the tip of femur 3 are looking a bit dark (the hairs in the yellow part of the femur), so I'd guess it's ribesii. To be really sure, we'd need a pornographically close shot Pfft

Thanks. I have a few other shots of this one. Shall I look for details of the tip of femur 3 or do you mean the genitalia!? ShockCool

Another pic. Amalia, I think you are right that female S. ribesii should have a yellow third femur. My key asks for microtrichia on the wing, so I'm lost there ...

I forgot to mention. I enlarged the photo to see the hairs on last femur, but I can only see the yellowish hairs on the inner part. The outer part seems to be bare.
