Sciara analis - how easy?

There are dozens of black and yellow sciarids on the umbellifers in the fens here in N. Wales at present. They look like Sciara analis in the gallery photo, but is colour regime enough to identify this species, please?

No: the only way to be sure is to look at the male genitalia. Most specimens on flowers are S. hemerobioides - the other Sciara tend to be wood breeding, and shy !

Thanks. If I'd looked at the British checklist first, I wouldn't have needed to ask - S. analis is not on the British list.
