Hello Flyforum,

Today I saw some of these little flies, which are I think Chlorops specie.
Can anyone say more about this Chlorops id? Wink

place: Amsterdam Woodforest - near streaming water -
length: 2-3 mm

Teza separate Thaumatomyia and Chlorops is:
Thaumatomyia - scutellum dorsaly flatterned, apical setas on scutellum aproached together,
Chlorops - on the contrary.
In your case I don't know right answer.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
