Hello everybody, I'm guessing that Dolichopodidae are difficult to photo-ID. I have about 3 or 4 different species on photo that need ID. Does it make sense to put them all on the forum for you to (try to) ID, or is it wishfull thinking and should I just leave it at "Dolichopodidae sp"? Well, here's just one to start anyway ![]() ![]() Netherlands, Alkmaar. Wild garden in agricultural area. Taken in June 2008. Best regards, Iolaire |

Dolichopus is most probable. But generally Doli females are indeterminable to species. And, sorry, your females can be hardly determined to genus.
