Hi forum,
can somebody identify this? I think it is Stratiomyidae. The photo is from August from the South Bohemia (lowland with many lakes).

Fairly sure this is a Stratiomys larva, and judging from the size, not fully grown, so unlikely to be able to get it to species.

I agree with Tony. A Stratiomys larva. To species level I have no idea. Sad
stratiomyid larvae are unmistakable!
