I'm not sure about this at all... Is this a Syrphid or something completely different? I have never seen it before. A couple of days ago in our garden. Very special markings, and very good looking... I guess around 12+mm. Have plenty more pictures if needed...

Thanx... Bee crossed my mind, but I quickyl discarded that Now, is it maculatum or is that a spelling error and it should be manicatum? I ask mainly because a quick googlesearch didnt yield many hits... Trond |

Oops! Sorry, it ?s manicatum. Did you get any hits at all with maculatum??

I got some hits like Anthidium genus and a couple for Anthidium manicatum, and since I'm pretty good at math i added it up easily Thanks again!
