Found this in our garden in southern norway at june 20th. Aprox. 20-25mm long. Can it be seen what it is? I'm really not sure it even is Asilidae tbh, but I think so...    Edit: Pictures moved, links updated... Edited by Trond on 23-06-2008 08:17 Trond |

Well, it certainly is Asilidae - loud and clear! I would suggest genus Machimus. I guess someone more knowledgable will even know a species name!
