27 May, Goksu delta, mid south Turkey. Flat sandy landscape, with reed, small shrubs, and lots of low herbaceous plant (10 sm). Silty influences present.

Looks like Machimus, but with brilliant greens eyes (more clearly so in real life).

Is Machimus correct? Can ID be narrowed down further?

notice the white hairs just above genital; very distinctive

A Promachus sp.; males of this very large genus often have white hairs on top of the genitalia.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
