Gymnosoma sp. (Tachinidae) - a very distinctive (almost unmistakable) genus but a species ID is not possible from this photo I think - even with a very sharp view of the head & thorax dusting identifications are often not possible Sad

Only Gymnosoma sp. it is nearly impossible in many cases to be sure about species of Gymnosoma. Sometimes it is possible, not this one.
