This fly has long, slender feet, and it keeps its abdomen curved down. I found it a few days ago in my garden in Bilthoven (Netherlands) on Catmint (Nepeta). Is it a Chrysopilus species? Is it possible to determine the species from this/a photo?

Yes, Chrysopilus, but I don't know the species!

Cheers,
Peter

C. cristatus is a safe assumption.
