There are several species with that hyaline wing colour (did you use the key under http://home.hccne...ylius.html?), and the decisive characters are difficult to see...
Recently my Bombylius thread (http://www.dipter...d_id=13477) was found to show B. posticus by the Bombyliid expert David Gibbs. My Bombylius had a different colour of abdomen hairs; however, I do not know how variable hair colour might be within the species. So it's the best to wait for David!
Regards, Sundew

correct, with a little more time to study photo i think best guess is B. trichurus but you need to collect specimens to name these little Bombylius reliably.
