Another fly from the sea shore. cc 3-4 mm. An Ephydrid?

If it is Canacidae, it is likely to be Canace salonitana (known from Crete and Croatia only). The other Canacids have a Western distribution.

The other farther option Xanthocanace ranula, which is known from Italy.

Anyone can confirm this to be Canace or at least a Canacid fly?

I'm sure this is Canace salonitana. According to Mathis (in his 1982 review of Palaearctic species) the head chaetotaxy is just as shown in your photo. In nasica, there are three, rather than two, upcurved genal bristles, and in actites there are fewer proclinate setae on the frons.
This is a female, by the way - the thick dark ovipositor spines are quite obvious. (One for the gallery, please! Cool)
