Hello forum,

Is it possible to give this fly a name? I think it is an Cheilosia but I can't find the genus. Foto's are made on the 16th of may in the south of the Netherlands. Thanks.

Cheilosia is probably right, but this is a difficult genus, not easy to identify from photos. To attract the Syrphidae experts, this thread should be posted in the Syrphidae forum!
Regards, Sundew
