After looking through the gallery - perhaps Phaonia subventa?

Thank you both.

I will label the picture as Phaonia cf. subventa. Besides, is there a simple criteria to recognize the genus Phaonia? The several Phaonia species in the gallery look quiet different for me.

No simple criteria unfortunately. But there is only a few robust flies with yellow abdomen.
