Hello forum,

this one is about 4-5 mm in length. I found it today (May 2nd 2008) in Hagen (NRW, Germany). The site is 175 m above sea level, an artificial alder marshland is growing there.

Is it possible to ID the fly? Thanks for help and best regards,
Josef
