small dark Syrphid with hairy eyes

Hi, Today I saw some small syrphids I am not familiar with. Of this one there is only one photo - sorry! Is it a Cheilosia? It seems that the abdomen is not fully dark, but the bright spot might be a light reflection as well. Thanks for any hints, Sundew Sundew attached the following image: [161.37Kb] |

ID difficult as the key characters are not visible. But the habitus and certain details look like a Pipiza. Dieter |

P bimaculata looks like the most likely candidate. |

Might be bimaculata - or something else. As far as I know there is still no sound concept how to distinguish the species of the noctiluca complex. Why not name it "Pipiza sp."? Cheers, Dieter |
