Then it is of the very rare spring generation.
Quite exceptional, at least at my latitudes.

This week temperatures arose around 30 ?C. And I could testify a boost on flies numbers, of course. This place has the same latitude as Coimbra.


Concerning other place:
The place of Vila Nova de Ceira is very nice. Almost no pollution. And we can find Zophomyia temula (I spotted 3 this Tuesdy); it was the place where I found the Gonia atra (as you IDed in the last Gonia); also there are many Phasia, Ectophasia, etc etc.
