![]() Oryctes : France : Villeneuve-d'Ascq : 59650 : 17/07/2026 Altitude : 22 m - Taille : 4 mm (estimation) Réf. : 376043 Hello, I found this small fly in a damp wooded area in Villeneuve d'Ascq (Nord, France) on July 17, 2026. I am well aware there are too few visible details to identify a species, but could the genus Azelia be recognized here (the broad white band on the posterior part of the thorax and the appearance of the abdomen with its big black dots point me toward this genus). Thank you in advance for your feedback, Dominique |

Thank you, Nikita, for your reply (not easy under these circumstances) and for confirming genus Azelia. Dominique |
