Hi Armen, I don't think so. B. maritima I've checked with Cerretti (2010): I tachinidi della fauna italiana. It reads there that maritima's lateral presutural bands are subrectangular and the median band is hardly visible. Also, tergite 3 is usually without median marginals. And in my own experience the abdominal pattern of B. triangulifera differs conspiciously from maritima's pattern. Well, the black triangles only show up in hind view and I see clearly one in the last pic, so I'd prefer triangulifera. Theo |
