I found this little wasp in Barcelos, Portugal. It is curious that, instead of flying, it jumps when scared. Is it possible to say something about it? date: 17/03/2008 ![]() ![]() ![]() Edited by Rui Andrade on 27-03-2008 01:03 |

Some Pteromalus or Trichomalus, but not for sure. Visit http://ponent.atspace.org/fauna/ins/fam/pteromalidae/trichomalus_pte.htm#f1_1_t921 or http://ponent.atspace.org/fauna/ins/fam/pteromalidae/pteromalus_pte.htm and try to compare your specimen with those rather high quality photos on the site. Good luck! Sergey |
