Have a nice Day. One Question please. Can this Cylindromyia species be identified more precisely? Or are more pictures needed? I would be very grateful for an answer. Discovery data: Austria, Lower Austria, Tattendorf, 226m, Weingarten, 25.7.2024 Kind regards Karl. karl7 attached the following image: ![]() [147.07Kb] Edited by karl7 on 21-01-2026 19:56 |

Probably a male C. brassicaria (we could be sure, if we'd see only 3 pairs of bristles on the scutellum and only 4 marginal bristles on tergite 4)
Greetings, Eric |

Agood Evening Eric. Thank you for the Answer of male Cylindromyia cf. brassicaria. Perhaps this year I will finally manage to take good photos of Cylindromyia species. Kind regards Karl. |
