Dear Forum, This fly was sitting near the fly in my previous thread, "Anthomyiidae?" and I then believed them to be the same (although male and female). Is this fly Fannia too? Thank you for help, Niek Niek van Wijk attached the following image:  [106.45Kb] |

Niek, please, give data of your image/observation. It is especialy useful in early spring. In case that male Fannia from http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=11671#post_54899 and this one are from same species (it is very probable, especialy if data is early March  )than both are Fannia manicata (but, if Nikita Nikita Vikhrev - Zool Museum of Moscow University |
