This specimen and two others (total 2 males and a female) were collected in grass near a lake in Faroe Islands 15. august 2025. If not for the apical process on scutellum it keys out to Parydra quadripunctata using Stuke, 2025. It does have the obvious seta on middle coxa. Knees are not yellow. P. coarctata, P. fossarum and P. pusilla are reported from here. Also a dubious record of P. quadripunctata. Records for P. quadripunctata and P. coarctata are from 1881- 1915.
