Hello, This Muscidae male has been collected in a yellow pan trap in coastal area of Moorea, in French Polynesia. I think it is a male of Lispocephala pectinata (Stein, 1900)/Pectiniseta pectinata (Stein, 1900), am I right ? And if it does, what is the good combination for this species now please ? Thank you for the help ! Tramage attached the following image: ![]() [92.92Kb] |

For current combinations of Pacific flies, see https://hbs.bisho...org/aocat/. Coenosia pectinata Stein, 1900 is now in genus Lispocephala. I can not say whether you have that species. |
