Hi,
Recently I saw two Tachinid males in south-eastern Berlin that looked like Estheria picta to me. The location of the first one, seen on 5 August, was quite close to the one I posted in 2009 (https://diptera.i...d_id=23735), so a nice meeting after 16 years! Here are some pictures:

The location of the second one from 17 August was about 1.5 km north of the first as the crow flies. The biotope was of the same type (dry meadow). I think my ID should be ok, but any corrections are welcome!
Thanks, Sundew
