I am struggling to get a species ID here, even not sure whether Conops or Leopoldius.

All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated.

My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated.

Conops flavipes (female), I think.

Greetings,
Henrik

Thanks, Henrik!
Comparing other photos, that ID looks good.

I was using M van Veen's online key, and in genus Conops, right at the first step, it was asked for lateral silvery stripe - and I though it is present, just not in the light. But maybe these are just reflection.
Anyways, I went through all species nevertheless and under C. flavipes, it mentions a broad black ring on top half of femur - and this does not seem fitting, as the complete apical half is black in my photo.
That's what confused me

Cheers, Lorin
