Spotted in July 2025 in Germany, Baden Württemberg, in a meadow. Size 5-7mm. Can the fly be identified? My suspicion leans towards Eliozeta pellucens or Clytiomya continua.

It's unfortunately hard to tell from the photo angle, it would be good to have a side view to see the Katepisternal bristles. Check out this handy table comparing the two species - https://tachinidae.org.uk/blog/clytiomya-continua-vs-eliozeta-pellucens/

But there are more species and abdomen looks totally yeloow, so Id say it is a male Eliozeta helluo
